I’ve been coming to Marie’s Pizza with my family for the better part of 30 years, and it’s still every bit as good as I remember. I hadn’t been back in over 20 years, but while I was in town for work I thought I’d relive a bit of my childhood and grab our old family favourite — a half-and-half. It honestly tasted exactly the same as it did all those years ago. Perfectly cooked, loaded with quality toppings, and that same very memorable flavour. You can tell they still care about getting it right. Yeah, prices are a bit on the high side these days compared with some other joints, but it’s worth every penny. You’re paying for proper pizza made by people who’ve kept the tradition alive. Absolutely hit the spot — still one of the best feeds in town.
Marie’s Pizza at Mermaid Beach deserves five stars for everything!!! This is the best pizza store on the Gold Coast. My husband is highly allergic to anchovies so he ordered a supreme pizza with no anchovies. The staff were very friendly and helpful and said they could absolutely do that for him. When I picked up the pizza, I made sure to ask and the lovely young man said that they made sure there was no anchovies used and that they even used a clean cutter. We are so impressed with this store and the staff. Give Maries’s Pizza at Mermaid Beach a chance to make your pizza and I can guarantee you that you will not be disappointed.
First time trying them... Tried the bbq beef ... The crust felt crispy... Might give them another try and eat a different one next time.. the staff were attentive and friendly.

On my last order, I went for a BBQ Chicken pizza along with a vegetarian option, and both were excellent. The base is sturdy without being too thick, and they don’t skimp on cheese. Delivery usually takes around the estimated time, though there was one occasion when it arrived about ten minutes late. Not a huge issue, but worth noting if you’re in a hurry. Price-wise, I’d say it’s good value considering the portion sizes and the overall quality. Compared to other pizza places nearby, this feels like a step above in terms of freshness and taste. A dependable choice for a pizza night at home.
